The Fahed Lab was well represented at the American College of Cardiology’s 2026 Scientific Session, bringing together members of the cardiovascular community to share new research and advances in clinical care.
Among the highlights was the presentation of the HARP study as a Late-Breaking Clinical Trial, alongside its simultaneous publication in Circulation. The study evaluated the use of optical coherence tomography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging in patients with myocardial infarction with nonobstructive coronary arteries, demonstrating the value of advanced multimodality imaging in identifying underlying diagnoses.
Members of the Fahed Lab and our clinical research team contributed to bringing this collaborative study to completion, and D. Malik also represented the group at ACC 2026.
It was exciting to see the team’s work represented at one of the largest cardiovascular meetings of the year and to connect with colleagues advancing cardiovascular research and care around the world.
