We are thrilled to welcome Sarnoff Fellow Dev Malik to the Fahed Lab!

Devesh (Dev) Malik is a medical student at Yale University, joining our lab through the Sarnoff Cardiovascular Research Fellowship for 2025–2026!

He completed his B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh, with minors in Chemistry and Sociology. At Yale, Dev worked with the CORE team led by Dr. Harlan Krumholz, where he focused on big data analysis of public health impacts and population-level changes in cardiovascular health. His work has been published in multiple journals, including Nature: Genes & Immunity and JACC.

Driven by a passion for advancing cardiovascular prevention, Dev is eager to apply data-driven approaches and innovative research methods to improve patient outcomes and expand our understanding of cardiovascular disease.

Outside of the lab and school, Dev enjoys playing racket sports (TT > pickleball > tennis), cycling around the city, and (re)watching sitcoms or action-comedy movies.
